Welcome to Codi Codi! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using Codi Codi, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
By creating an account or using any part of the Codi Codi platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account on behalf of a child, you agree to these terms on their behalf and accept responsibility for their use of the platform.
Codi Codi is designed for children ages 6-16. To use our platform: • Children under 13 must have a parent or guardian create and manage their account. • Children ages 13-16 may create their own account with parental consent. • Parents and guardians must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
When you create an account with us: • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. • You may not share your account with others or transfer it to another person. • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. • Each child should have their own individual account — account sharing is not permitted.
Parents and guardians play a crucial role on our platform: • You must provide verifiable parental consent before your child can use the platform. • You are responsible for supervising your child's use of Codi Codi. • You may review your child's activity, progress, and data through the parent dashboard. • You can set time limits, manage permissions, and control your child's experience. • You may revoke consent and request account deletion at any time.
When using Codi Codi, you agree not to: • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems. • Transmit harmful code, viruses, or any material designed to damage the platform. • Harass, bully, or intimidate other users in any way. • Share personal information (real names, addresses, phone numbers) in public areas. • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform. • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the platform. • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
All content on the Codi Codi platform is protected by intellectual property laws: • The platform, including its design, code, graphics, characters, worlds, challenges, and educational content, is owned by Codi Codi and its licensors. • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. • The Codi Codi name, logo, and branding are trademarks and may not be used without authorization. • Educational materials are provided for personal, non-commercial learning use only.
When users create content on the platform (code, projects, etc.): • You retain ownership of the original code and projects you create. • You grant Codi Codi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store your content as part of the service. • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights. • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is inappropriate. • Content created by children may be reviewed for safety and appropriateness.
If applicable to your use of the platform: • Free tier features are available at no cost and may change over time. • Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected at sign-up. • All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
The Codi Codi platform is provided "as is" and "as available": • We strive to provide a reliable, bug-free experience, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. • Educational content is designed to supplement learning and is not a replacement for formal education. • We are not responsible for any learning outcomes or results from using the platform. • We do not guarantee that the platform will meet all of your specific requirements. • We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or security purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: • Codi Codi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. • We are not liable for any loss of data, progress, or content due to technical issues beyond our reasonable control. • These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.
Either party may end this agreement: • You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. • Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. • Data deletion upon termination follows the schedule outlined in our Privacy Policy. • Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts in the jurisdiction where Codi Codi operates.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time: • We will notify registered users of significant changes via email at least 15 days before they take effect. • The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. • Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. • If you disagree with the updated terms, you may stop using the platform and delete your account.
